TERALIGEN ( alimemazine tartrate ) is antipsychotic medication (neuroleptics), which has a moderate antispasmodic, serotonylation, antihistamine and action. The drug is also characterized by sedative, antitussive, hypnotic, antiemetic activity. The soothing effect of the pills Teraligen is achieved by blockade of receptors for adrenaline. Teraligen is produced in the form of pills. Main ingredient: alimemazine tartrate 5(mg)
Auxiliary substance: lactose, colloidal silicon dioxide, refined sugar, wheat starch, tapioca (tapioca starch), talc, magnesium stearate
Pills should be taken orally 3-4 times a day independently before or after eating with a small amount of liquid. The duration of application and dosage regimen is determined by the attending physician on the basis of the clinical picture of the disease.
Hypnotic effect for adults: starting dosage is 5-10 (mg) a day
Anxiolytic effect: starting dosage is 60-80 (mg) a day.
Antipsychotic effect: starting dosage is 200-400 (mg) a day.
Sedative effect for children: starting dosage is 2.5-5 (mg) a day
Symptomatic treatment of allergic reactions: starting dosage is 5-20 (mg) a day

Hypersensitivity to Teraligen, angle-closure glaucoma, prostatic hyperplasia, severe hepatic and/or renal insufficiency, Parkinson's disease, myasthenia gravis, Reye's syndrome, pregnancy, lactation.
Sensory organs: blurred visual perception (paresis of accommodation), ringing or tinnitus; respiratory system: dryness in the throat and/or nose, increased viscosity of bronchial secretions; cardiovascular system: lower blood pressure, dizziness, tachycardia; digestive system: atony of the gastrointestinal tract, constipation, dry mouth, decreased appetite; urinary system: urinary retention, bladder atony; nervous system: rapid fatigability, lethargy, drowsiness, usually occurring in the first days of administration and do not always require withdrawal of the drug; paradoxical reaction (excitement, irritability, anxiety, nightmares); rarely – confusion, extrapyramidal disorders (hypokinesia, akathisia, tremor); increased convulsive activity, increased night apnea (in children); other: increased sweating, allergic reactions, muscle relaxation, inhibition of bone marrow hematopoiesis, photosensitization.
