Suggested Use

Main ingredient: quetiapine 100mg; 200mg; 300mg.

Auxiliary substance: cellulose microcrystalline, lactose monohydrate, sodium carboxymethyl starch, povidone, magnesium stearate, silicon dioxide, triacetin, macrogol, lactose monohydrate, titanium dioxide, hypromellose.

Ketilept is administrated orally independently before or after eating.

Dosage for adults: the total daily dose for the first 4 days of therapy is 50mg ; the second day is 100mg ; the third day is 200mg; the fourth day is 300mg. On the fifth and subsequent days the daily dosage is 300 mg. Depending on the clinical effect and individual tolerance in each patient, the dose can be adjusted from 150 mg to 750mg a day.

Dosage for patients with renal or hepatic insufficiency: recommended initial dose is 25mg a day and then to increase the dose every 25-50mg to get an effective dose.

Ketilept is forbidden to use under the age of 18 years due to lack of evidence of safety and benefits of drugs.


Hypersensitivity. Use in pregnancy is possible if the expected effect of therapy exceeds the potential risk to the fetus. At the time of treatment should stop breastfeeding.

Side Effects

Dizziness, anxiety, drowsiness, rarely – malignant neuroleptic syndrome; orthostatic hypotension, hypertension, tachycardia, leukopenia; increase in cholesterol, serum triglycerides, ALT and AST, changes in liver enzymes; dry mouth, diarrhea or constipation, dyspepsia; rash, dry skin; pain (abdominal pain, headache, lower back, muscles, chest, ear), asthenia, rhinitis, urinary tract infections, fever, weight gain.


Store in dry place at room temperature. Do not exceed storage temperature higher than 25 degrees Celcius. Keep away from direct sunlight. Keep locked and away from children.
